Founded in 1852, Phi Mu is a women's organization which provides personal and academic development, service to others, commitment to excellence, and lifelong friendship through a shared tradition. The Lambda Delta Chapter is privileged to call the University of South Carolina Aiken home. We are very involved on our campus and the majority of our chapter is involved in other organizations! Please feel free to browse our website and see what makes the Lambda Delta chapter of Phi Mu so special!
A Letter from our President:
Hello everyone! My name is Aubry Melvin and I am the President of this wonderful Lambda Delta chapter of Phi Mu! Phi Mu Fraternity was founded in 1852 at Wesleyan College, located in Macon, GA. This organization has a lot to be proud of and if you would like to learn more about us, nationally or individually, please check out our website! Feel free to look through our website on how we give back to the community through philanthropic events; our presence on campus; and who we are as a chapter!
Additionally, Phi Mu's national philanthropy is the Children's Miracle Network Hospital (CMNH). Our chapter is fortunate enough to have a Children's Hospital located right across the river in Augusta, GA! We work very closely with the Children's Hospital of Georgia (CHOG) throughout each semester, and you can read more about our chapter efforts of being involved with them and how we raise funds through our philanthropy page!
Throughout my term of presidency, I will be encouraging and motivating my sisters to always remember who they are as women of Phi Mu by empowering them through our quote for this year: "Girls compete with each other, women empower one another!" I am beyond proud of the women within this organization and the sisterhood that they have created and maintained. I hope you get a chance to see that too!
Be sure to enjoy our captured moments and read about our treasured memories during your visit. Thank you and we cannot wait to meet you!
