Phi Mu

Steadfast in Sisterhood

Founded in 1852, Phi Mu is a women's organization which provides personal and academic development, service to others, commitment to excellence, and lifelong friendship through a shared tradition. The Lambda Delta Chapter is privileged to call the University of South Carolina Aiken home. We are very involved on our campus and the majority of our chapter is involved in other organizations! Please feel free to browse our website and see what makes the Lambda Delta chapter of Phi Mu so special!

A Letter from our President:

Hello, My name is Taylor Drennen, and I am the president of this amazing Lambda Delta Chapter of Phi Mu Fraternity.

Phi Mu was founded in 1852 at Wesleyan College located in Macon, Geogia. During this time, the word sorority did not exist. This is why our name is unique by still going by Phi Mu Fraternity, instead of sorority.

This organization has several opportunities to help you grow as a person and as a leader. If you are interested in learning more about both our national and individual chapter, please dig deeper into our website as well as our social media accounts. These will go into more detail on how our chapter gives back to our campus, the community, and our philanthropy.

Our philanthropy, the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, is very near and dear to my heart, and we are fortunate enough to have a hospital 20 minutes away in Augusta, Georgia. This allows us to not just raise money for the organization, but also volunteer at the hospital with the children and families. You can read more about our involvement with the hospital and the community in the Philanthropy tab on our website.

Throughout my term as president, my goal is to continue to build our bond as sisters and encourage everyone to continue to grow to become better leaders as well as the Phi Mu women I know they can become. Our national mission statement expresses that Phi Mu provides personal and academic development, service to others, commitment to excellence and lifelong friendship through a shared tradition. Phi Mu promotes vibrant living, encouraging members to achieve their personal best.

I am beyond proud of these women, and believe that everyone has the potential to continue to grow as a Phi Mu woman. I believe you have the potential too, and I hope you have the chance to see that and grow as well! Be sure to enjoy our captured moments and read about our treasured memories during your visit. Thank you and we cannot wait to meet you!
